Сylinder-shaped vase with a rim widening towards the top, is resting on a solid, stable circular base. The piece is made of multi-layered glass using the pâte-de-verre (glass paste) technique. The central part of the body is decorated around its circumference with a high-relief frieze featuring expressive, grotesque theatrical masks of comedy and tragedy, separated by vertical geometric zigzag patterns. The composition is topped by a decorative belt of circular floral rosettes.
