On the lid inner side: "О.КУРЛЮКОВЪ"; 1908-1917 Moscow District Assay Office mark– facing tight female head wearing kokoshnik, enclosed in a circle; "84" standard fineness code. On the thumbpiece exterior surface: 1927-1954 Tallinn Assay Inspection triple mark for foreign items stamped at customs – a worker's head with hammer, with the "875" standard fineness code and the district Greek letter code "eta" (H); restoration mark – "Р" in a circle; the illegible mark (possibly a letter of the Greek alphabet)
Crystal pitcher with the handle made of clear, colourless crystal, featuring a hinged silver lid, gilded inside, with a thumbpiece (lever) and silver mount block above the handle to which the lid is attached. The conical body is decorated with variations of "diamond" and "fan" cutting, as well as "stars"; multi-ray rosette is located on the bottom. The lid and the mount block are decorated in the Art Nouveau (Modern) style with the raised, relief ornament of curved stems with lush leaves and flowers. The thumbpiece is shaped as a scrolled stem.
