Gold oval enamel snuffbox, with a hinged flip lid. The exterior surfaces of the lid and the base are decorated with a shaped medallion of transparent orange enamel over guilloché ground. A floral border with red enamel flowers on pink ground runs around the rims of the lid and base. The sides of the snuffbox are adorned with shaped reserves of orange enamel over guilloché background.  Round medallions featuring a stylized red enamel palmette on pink ground are between the reserves.
