Full-length sculptural image of the composer Giacomo Puccini is located on a square ornately shaped plinth. His head is turned to the left. With a cigarette in his mouth, wearing a hat and a coat with an upturned collar, he stands with his hands tucked into his pockets. It is known that this portrait statuette served as a model for the monument to G. Puccini, executed by P. Troubetzkoy in 1925 for the La Scala theater and subsequently installed in front of the composer's house near Viareggio.

Giacomo Puccini (1858-1924) was an Italian composer, one of the representatives of the "verismo" movement in music. Puccini and Troubetzkoy knew each other. In the 1880s–1910s, they moved in the Milanese artistic society and were friends.
