This music box is mounted in vertical, rectangular wooden case veneered in walnut. The case rests on two turned front feet and a solid support at the back. After the motor spring is wound and a coin is inserted, the pinned disc, mounted on the axle and secured by a pressure bar, begins to rotate. The pins on the reverse side of the disc actuate the hammers, causing the teeth of the musical comb to sound in a specific order. The set includes winding crank handle, key, and eleven interchangeable pinned discs.
