Inscriptions on the clock case: a trademark in the form of a pine branch with a cone and the inscriptions “Lenzkirch”, “1 Million”; on the chassis of the musical movement: “254060”, “SCHUTZ-MARKE”, “TRADE-MARK”, “MADE IN GERMANY”. On the trademark logo: “SYMPHONION”.
This clock is housed in a wooden case veneered in walnut, resting on a plinth with carved ornament, a profiled base on four feet, and a slanted compartment for disc storage. The musical disc movement with two spring motors simultaneously plays three synchronized pinned discs, sounding six combs with 50 teeth each; the mechanism stops automatically. The case of the automaton functions as a resonator. The set includes three discs, two crank handles, and a key. Disc diameter: 35.5 cm.
