    Open-face mechanical pocket watch in a round case with two covers, featuring a polished pendant and bow, and a polished back cover. The case band features transverse reeding. Behind the spherical glass crystal is a gilded chapter ring dial featuring Arabic hour numerals set in enamel cartouches, minute divisions on the external white enamel ring, and two blued steel Breguet hands. The spaces between the cartouches are decorated with a pattern of lozenges and rays, and blue enamel inserts, while the center of the dial features guilloché engraving. The case band houses a lever to turn the musical mechanism on/off, and a strike/silent lever on the bezel with the inscriptions 'Silence' and 'Sonne'. The cuvette features two winding apertures with arbours for winding the watch and the musical mechanism, accompanied by engraved arrows and the inscriptions 'Musique' and 'Montre'. The inner side of the rear cover bears a hallmark and the serial number '626'. The watch movement features a simple three-spoke brass balance wheel, a cylinder escapement, a quarter repeater, striking on two gongs, and a mainspring barrel. The sur plateau musical mechanism features twenty teeth, a fusee, and a spring-driven barrel.
