Graphics (Greek γραφικος – written, from Greek γραφω – I write) – a section of visual arts that utilizes lines, dashes, spots and dots to convey images. One of the graphics types is lithography – a method of printing when printing colour is applied under pressure on paper from a flat print form. In the first half of the 19^th century, in Russia the lithography technique attracted major graphic artists and painters: Orlovsky, Kiprensky, Venetsianov and Brullov. The Collection Museum has a vast constellation of works of outstanding Russian artist Alexander Orlovsky. A special place is held by graphics collection by Mihaly Zichy.
