Porcelain bonbonnière modeled in the form of an egg, featuring a hinged lid with a pierced (openwork) gold mount securing the upper body and the lid. The porcelain is finely painted with polychrome floral sprays and bouquets. The rim of the mount on the lid is inscribed: RIEN NEST AGREABLE ELOIGNEZ DE VOUS. The pierced gold mount is further decorated with a chased frieze composed of C-scrolls and flowers.
