    Rectangular gold snuffbox with canted corners and a hinged cover. The sides, cover, and base are decorated with verre églomisé panels executed after engravings by Jean-Guillaume Moitte (1746–1810). The composition on the lid depicts Veturia at the feet of Coriolanus; the base features "The Jewels of Cornelia". The side panels include depictions of the Rape of the Sabine Women and the blind Belisarius led to the altar. The canted corners feature allegorical representations of the four rivers of the Roman Empire.
