Eight scenes are arranged in eight cartouches outlined with bronze paint on a rectangular, horizontally oriented sheet. In the upper middle section, beneath the top cartouche, there is an inscription executed in bronze paint: “13 ФЕВР: 1831 Г.” (the date of the Battle of Grochów, in which the guard uhlans particularly distinguished themselves; celebrated as the regiment day).

The author's signature and date are located in the lower-right section, beneath the image of the orchestra: Zichy 1859.
