Rectangular, horizontally oriented sheet with rounded edges features three scenes arranged in cartouches outlined by curved lines executed in gold paint. The scenes are positioned in two rows, with each one inscribed in gold paint. Сircular medallion depicting the double-headed eagle—the coat of arms of the Russian Empire—is placed in the upper center of the sheet, with an inscription executed in gold paint above it: “16 Janvier 1889.” The cartouche in the lower part of the sheet, bearing an inscription in Russian and French “Идите прямымъ путём - s'il vous plaît” (translated from French as: please), depicts a scene in the Armorial Hall. A walking stick and a hat are shown in the central part of the sheet. A circular blue stamp with a partially visible inscription is located in the corner: “EXPORTATION // PARIS.”
The author's signature and date are located in the lower-right section, beneath the cartouche: Зichy 89.
