In the center of the sheet, the Emperor and his entourage are arranged full-length in a semicircle. To the left is a camp chest with provisions, bags, a samovar, and a kindled campfire; bears (hunting trophies) are depicted on the right. In the lower part of the mount, there is an inscription in French: “Déjeuner en plein air” (translated as: An Al Fresco Lunch).
